& Activities

We encourage our residents to pursue any interests or hobbies they have previously enjoyed before moving into our care home. We will be happy to give you the space and facilities you need to carry on with any of your own regular hobbies – just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it.

If you wish to explore new things to do our weekly schedule focuses on a range of enjoyable activities to do and suitable for all residents’ needs. It includes board games, gentle exercises, movie nights, arts and crafts sessions and many more! Our spacious lounge is ideal for morning crafts, afternoon entertainment and other social gatherings.

We also have a minibus available for our residents to go on regular outings to local garden centres, shopping afternoons, museums and galleries. We always let residents choose what trips they would like to go on and things they would like to see.

Whatever it is you like, we are here, to make your stay enjoyable and meaningful.

Kind words from our families

My mum spent 6 weeks with the team at the Edwardian over Christmas and New Year due to emergency restbite. The team were amazing, so friendly and caring, nothing was to much effort or trouble, they went over and above helping with WhatsApp video calls to ensure we could see mum during a really difficult period. Huge thanks to May and the team.
