Something for Everyone

& Activities

There’s always something going on at the Victoriana! Our daily activities are based on your interests and hobbies, so there is something for everyone. You can enjoy arts and crafts, gentle movement exercises, cinema experiences, sing-alongs, dancing and quizzes and of course our much-loved Thursday morning bingo sessions.

We also have a wonderful tearoom, where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake in a traditional tearoom setting. With vintage art on the walls and unique tea sets on display around the room, it is the perfect setting for a quiet cuppa with your family and friends. We also like to celebrate your birthday with lots of enthusiasm, personalised cake and lots of singing!

Being across the road from Wardown Park we regularly go for walks around the river, to watch the ducks and treat ourselves to an ice-cream afterwards. Our wheelchair accessible mini bus will take you on day trips to any places you wish to visit.

At Victoriana Care Home our dedicated team is here to make sure you feel as comfortable as you do in your own home.

Kind words from families, visitors & health care professionals

R. Ingram

My aunt is extremely happy and content. She is well looked after and the staff at the Victoriana are always taking their time to talk to her and are always polite and caring. I live quite a distance away and feel that happy that although I cannot visit as often as I would like, I know that my aunt’s needs are met 110% - many thanks to you all

F. Sullivan

My father David has been in the care home for approximately 3 months. I was nervous for him to start with, but he seems happy. Staff including Inesa and Huma are very helpful and the home seems well run. If he is happy, I am happy.

R. Fleckney

I work for Phoenix PCN, I regularly attend care home to see some of the residents. The staff at this care home are very polite and helpful, all staff are very welcoming and have only had good experience when attending this care home. Keep up the good work. The Senior staff at this care home are amazing!

A. Ulusow - PA PCN Phoenix

Came to see my mum and the carers who look after her, new team, including Inesa & Louise are doing a great job in current circumstances. All the best.

M. Wale

I’ve been working and seeing patients at many different care homes but this stands out from the rest – very dedicated, supportive and caring staff. Have only had good experiences working with this team.

Dr. A Dawlatzai - GP PCN Team

All staff are very caring and professional. Would be very happy for one of my relatives to be a resident here! Thanks.

Dave - PCN Paramedic Practitioner

I am so thankful that my mum is being cared for at the Victoriana. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I look forward to the day that we go back to ‘normal and I can see more of the home. Thanks Everyone.

Tracey (Hanseel) King

The manager and staff are all very welcoming whenever I come in for the clinical care of patients. Whenever I need assistance with patients I get it. Sometimes some patients are residents present challenging behaviour. Staff handle these patients professionally with sympathy and empathy. This is a very good home if one asks me.
